There are several symptoms of hormonal imbalances.

At our office, we evaluate each patient individually to assess them for the specific hormones they may be deficient in and then prescribe the hormones they need.  Bioidentical hormones are identical to those hormones produced in our body.  Many of them are FDA approved but there are some that are compounded by accredited pharmacies that are made to order by a physician.  They are usually compounded with specific amounts of hormone depending on the patients needs.
